    Your file is read and corrected on our server, in our hosted database and file storage. The corrected file never reaches your browser until it is paid for.

    Read the honest report

    Counts of rows checked, safe fixes, warnings and blockers — with real before/after examples from your own file.

    Pay only if we fixed something

    $3.99 once, for that file. Already clean, unsupported or blocked files have no pay button at all.

Fixes we apply

  • Header names: trim surrounding whitespace and remove a byte-order mark, only when the result is an exact Shopify header and no other column collides with it.
  • True/false columns: rewrite true/yes/1 and false/no/0 (any letter case) to TRUE/FALSE.

We stop and charge nothing when

  • The CSV structure is broken or rows have the wrong number of values.
  • Two columns mean the same Shopify field.
  • The file is not a Shopify product CSV, or a product has no title.
  • A true/false column still holds a value we will not guess at.
  • The file is not valid UTF-8, over 5 MB, or over 5,000 rows.

Columns we recognise

Both Shopify spellings of every column — the current export names and the long-standing legacy names — plus market columns such as Included / United States. We keep whichever spelling your file uses.

Questions

What exactly do you change?
Two things. We trim stray spaces and hidden byte-order marks from recognised header names, and we rewrite unambiguous yes/no values (true, yes, 1, false, no, 0) to TRUE or FALSE in Shopify's true/false columns. Nothing else.
What will you never do?
We never invent titles, handles, prices, inventory numbers, options or categories. We never rename a valid header from one Shopify spelling to another, never trim your cell values, never drop unknown columns, and never merge repeated handles.
Do you guarantee Shopify will accept the file?
No. We never test a file against Shopify. What we do guarantee is our own work: the corrected file is read back in full and re-checked against every rule your original passed, and its checksum is shown to you.
What about update files?
Files that update existing products are diagnostic only. Update behaviour depends on your live catalogue, which we cannot read, so we do not produce a corrected file for them.
How long do you keep my file?
Originals and unpaid corrected files are removed 24 hours after upload, paid corrected files 7 days after payment, by an hourly cleanup job. Access stops at those times either way, and you can delete everything immediately from your report page.
Do I need an account?
No. Your report is tied to a private random token stored in a cookie on your device. Anyone without that token — including someone who knows your report link — gets a 'not found'.
