What the service does

CSV Spruce reads a product CSV intended for a new-product import, reports formatting problems it recognises, and — where a safe, deterministic correction exists — produces a corrected copy. The set of corrections is fixed and listed on the home page. Update files are checked and reported on, but never modified.

What you are paying for

$3.99 USD buys a download of the corrected copy of one specific file version, produced before you paid and verified by re-reading it. The price is set by our server; nothing in your browser can change it.

What we do not guarantee

• We do not guarantee that Shopify will accept your file. We never test a file against Shopify, and we have no affiliation with Shopify.
• We do not check your data for business correctness: prices, stock, taxonomy and descriptions are yours.
• We do not fill in missing data, rename columns, remove columns, or merge duplicate products.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site.

Your responsibility

Keep your own copy of the original file. Review the corrected file before importing it. Only upload files you are allowed to upload.

Acceptable use

Uploads are limited to 5 MB and 5,000 rows, and to 10 files per hour per visitor. Do not attempt to bypass these limits, access reports belonging to other visitors, or use the service to process unlawful content.

Refunds

If a corrected file is wrong, ask for a refund through the support page. When a refund is issued, the download for that file is closed by our server.

Retention

Files are removed on the schedule described in the privacy page. After removal a paid download cannot be restored, and we cannot re-create a file we no longer hold.

Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a file is limited to the amount you paid for that file.
